2-D Design
To make this 2-D Design craft, I chose a habitat that I wanted to create and began to choose colors that represented the habitat. I layered pieces of construction paper to create a fish, some different species of plants, and the ocean waves. I glued these pieces all down on the underside of the "window" flap. Then, on the outside of the Polaroid paper, I wrote a sentence that correlated with my habitat.
Extension Activity: Instead of creating habitats, you could correlate this idea with a reading assignment and have students create a scene from their favorite book or chapter of a book they have recently read. On the outside of the Polaroid frame, students could write a quote from the book they read, or a sentence that describes what is happening in their Polaroid scene,
