Elements & Principles of Art
This first image is one that represents value in a quilt. It shows multiple values of the reds/pinks, fades into a cream color, and then into values of teal/blue.
This image shows multiple examples of different geometric shapes because they are areas contained within lines. The candle and bowl are both circles, the coasters are squares, and the notepad is a rectangle. Additionally, the wooden tray also represents a circle.
This image showcases a regular pattern that is repeated all over this pot. This is a planned repetition used to enhance the surface.
This photo shows the texture of different types of pampas grasses. The surface quality appears rough in some parts of the plant and smoother in others. The combination shows a variety of textures contained in one photo.
The last photo shows lines because the shadows and depth of the panels make it look like lines could have been created by a moving dot. They have length and width and suggest movement in this photo.
